Robert J. Marinkov told the police that another man pulled him "out of his truck and began kicking and fighting," around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 30, Manheim Township police said.

The road rage fight broke out at the intersection of Lititz Pike and Chester Road in Manheim Township, according to the police.

The 57-year-old went on to tell the police that he pulled out a knife and cut the other man's leg.

"Later that day, the victim was met and described a similar incident, except that Marinkov had gotten out of his vehicle and came to the victim’s vehicle," the police said.

The victim also described Marinkov's "knife" as a "box cutter, according to the police.

He told them Marinkov "was swinging it at them and cut a hole in their shirt."

The slashed man claims he defended himself  and "attempted to kick the knife from Marinkov’s hand and was cut on the left calf."

The victim was then given medical care, while the police reviewed Marinkov's dashcam footage. The footage allegedly revealed Marinkov's lie showing "a shadow of Marinkov getting out of his truck and walking to the victim’s vehicle to fight," the police said.

A criminal complaint was filed and following Marinkov's arrest, he was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David P. Miller who set his bail at $10,000, according to the police and confirmed by court records.

His preliminary hearing has been set before Miller at 9 a.m. on Oct. 11, according to his court docket.

Marinkov has a criminal record and was found guilty of driving under the influence and bad checks, for which he served prison time, court records show.
